A9 closed between Holendrecht junction and Badhoevedorp junction from Friday 24 March 20:00 to Monday 27 March 5:00.
Commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat, the A9 will be widened between the Badhoevedorp interchange and the Holendrecht interchange. The road will be deepened over 1.6 kilometers. To make room for the construction of the sunken location in Amstelveen, a bypass (temporary lanes on the south side of the A9) will first be constructed. The southern carriageway of the A9 was previously diverted to the bypass. In the weekend of 24 - 27 March, the northern carriageway will also be connected to the bypass.
